You take control of a white ball (known as "The Vessel") rolling down a winding roller coaster track. Your only objective is to stay on the track and not hurtle off into the void around it; your only method of control is pressing the sides of the screen to tilt the ball to the left or right. The result is hypnotic, addictive and challenging. A unique racing experience Impossible Road lacks alternative game modes, a story, characters, and even much in the way of visuals; it's a white ball against a white-and-blue track on a blank white background. All there is is gameplay, and the gameplay is thrillingly fast and sensitive . Even flying off the track isn't the end; with nudging and a little luck you might be able to land the ball on a lower level of the track and keep rolling. In some ways, the game's minimalism goes a little too far; it would be nice to have an easier difficulty setting to prevent you from smashing your phone in frustration on some levels, for instance.
